Our vision is for Cyclorama to become a nationally celebrated e-bike festival.
Cyclorama is the brainchild of Dave Gibson, an ex TV and Film producer who has been living in Arrowtown for a few years. He’s a relatively recent convert to the world of e-bikes and the Queenstown trails, but super enthusiastic about them and keen to share his passion.
He’s being helped by his partner, Iris Weber, who has lived locally for 25 years and knows the locations and trails from her work as a line producer on overseas TV commercials.
Both Dave and Iris have considerable project experience, but have brought in events expert Rae Baker as a consultant to help them. With over 21 years of wide experience in both NZ and the UK, Rae has worked with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as a couple of years as Director of the Queenstown Winter Festival.
Emily Bean is our Trade and Partnerships director working with sponsors and village stallholders.
Our other industry professionals include digital and operations manager Fiona Bersani, and Chris Henry from the PR firm 818.
